My friends, I would like to open this post with a prayer to Our Lady:

Holy Mary, Mother fair, Filled with love for God, Pray for us in all our needs. Pray for us today.

Recently, I had the opportunity to make a trip to America. I enjoyed my time there immensely. However, the differences between the people who live in America and the people in Calcutta struck me immensely. You would think, at first, that many american families have the ideal life. With enough money to feed themselves and their families, send their children to school, and many other things, it seems as though they should be perfectly satisfied, and realize how blessed they are. However, people have extreme difficulty being satisfied with what they have. Greed for material things simply leads to a desire for more, and ultimately leaves you disappointed and unhappy. This is because only in the Heart of Jesus can you be truly satisfied. As St. Augustine says, “you have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.”

The people of the world seem to look at impoverished countries with pity, and it is true, living in the pitiful conditions that I have witnessed first hand is terrible for anyone. However, people do not realize that in a way, these poor people are more lucky than those who have everything they could want. Those who are materially poor can be wonderful people. Sometimes, despite what people tend to think, having fewer material temptations can help you to realize and understand what is truly important in your life - family and loved ones, and your relationship with the Father.

My friends, thank you for spending this time with what I have written. Remember to always appreciate that you have been blessed with. God bless you all.

My friends, I would like to begin this post by offering a prayer to St. Nicholas for our children, as it is his feast day today, on this December 6th.

God, we pray that through the intercessions of St. Nicholas, you will guide and protect our children. Keep them safe from all harm, and help them grow to become loving disciples of Jesus in your sight. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

This prayer, and all prayers for our children are exceptionally important in this time. The abortion industry makes 1.1 billion dollars in the US alone, profiting off the lives of our children. As many of you have probably heard, recently footage captured by undercover actors has been released, revealing Planned Parenthood has been illegally selling body parts of the children which they have killed, on the black market. While this is a great victory for those who defend the defenseless, it is important to remember that THIS is not the reason we believe abortion is evil. THIS is not why we know this corporation is an abomination. This footage is simply further proving what we have known since the beginning. Abortion is war against the child, the most defenseless, innocent form of human life. It is a direct killing of the child, murder by the mother herself. Let me make this one point - that no child should be unwanted, uncared for, or killed and thrown away or sold. Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.

My friends, I would like to thank you for spending this time reading these words I have written for you. Please continue to be a voice for the voiceless. Continue to promote peace and love in this country, and in the world. God bless and keep you.
